Danielle Olivera blames ‘self-absorbed’ Lindsay Hubbard for their falling out

Danielle Olivera blames “self-absorbed” Lindsay Hubbard for the “Summer House” co-stars’ falling out, saying things went south when she finally started to look out for “No. 1.”

“It’s challenging when you feel like you’re not being heard or everything you’re saying is just hitting a brick wall,” Olivera told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday.

“That’s kind of a lot of what was happening,” she explained, adding, “I finally think that I found my voice. … Maybe for the first time in a long time, we can consider that I was putting myself first.”

As she continues to navigate her November 2022 split from Robert Sieber — whom she dated for two-and-a-half years — Olivera said her priority these days is herself, which Hubbard apparently doesn’t like.

“Right now, I have to do what’s best for me,” she shared. “A lot of the times, I was doing what was best for Lindsay.”

The 34-year-old tech entrepreneur went on to shut down all of Hubbard’s explanations for the demise of their friendship, including that she isn’t supportive of the latter’s relationship with fiancé Carl Radke, with whom Olivera once had a fling.

The Puerto Rican Bravolebrity also made sure to note that she was never “jealous” of the couple’s romance amid her breakup.

She further insisted she was not “poisoned” by Hubbard’s numerous “Summer House” nemeses and did not befriend them to secure a “storyline” for Season 7, which is currently airing.

Hubbard, 36, has also speculated that her former best friend is upset with her for not going out with her one night in the Hamptons.

Olivera admitted that the situation “did contribute” to their rift because she felt the public relations specialist’s refusal to accompany her was selfish.

“‘What if I needed you to go to Montauk because, I don’t know, it could be anything! Maybe I just need it for me. Can you consider me for a second?’” Olivera hypothetically asked Hubbard in her interview with ET.

“Maybe most of our friendship was about me helping her, and that’s why it went so well, ’cause I was always there for her,” she continued. “Whatever she needed to talk about, I was always there.”

Despite what Hubbard might think, Olivera wanted to make one thing clear, “I’m always gonna be rooting for her and her relationship. … I’m always gonna root for their love.”

As for what it would take to repair the duo’s fractured dynamic, Olivera said she needs “a little self-refection” from Hubbard as well as “some acknowledgment and accountability for what went down.”
