Real Housewives Of Orange County Alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke Calls Fake Wedding To Jennifer Spinner “Powerful”

Reality TV

Braunwyn Windham-Burke is the gift that keeps on giving. If you like gifts wrapped in fancy packaging with the only contents being poor judgement and bad decisions. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star simply cannot live a peaceful life out of the spotlight. No matter how much we wish she would.

It seems like Braunwyn isn’t happy unless she is on 11 and being as extra as possible. It would be great if she could focus her energy towards homelessness or climate change, but she prefers to be selfish live in the moment.

Recently Braunwyn and girlfriend Jennifer Spinner took part in a fake wedding in Las Vegas. Fake because Braunwyn is still legally married to her husband, Sean Burke. Despite the unfinished divorce, Brauwyn and Jennifer traveled to Sin City to get fake married so Braunwyn would have something cute to talk about on Instagram. The fake wedding gave ‘ol Braunie a boost because now she’s feeling all powerful and stuff. Cue up your side-eye. Page Six has the details.

While the wedding itself might have been fugazi, the love inside of the chapel was 100% real. Jennifer said, “Obviously, it’s not a legally binding marriage but for us, it meant something and we talked a lot about the intention behind it.” I spoke about my intention to put away laundry with my cat this morning. Sadly, it meant nothing to either of us.

Braunwyn added, “It was … something that we put thought into.” Nothing like those sentimental, planned fake Vegas weddings! I wonder if Hallmark makes a touching card for these occasions? She claims the idea for a fake destination wedding struck them whilst looking for a “permanent home” in the South.

Jennifer and Braunwyn located a new home in Franklin, Tennessee. They will live there with the youngest four of Braunwyn’s seven kids. With any luck, the kids might see their mom in a somewhat structured and normal environment.

Both Braunwyn and Jennifer felt a commitment ceremony would be the best way to head into the family’s next journey. “That’s how we were going to finish out the road trip,” said Braunwyn. Unfortunately a bad car accident side-lined their plans. During Jennifer’s recovery, Braunwyn naturally thought getting married by a fake Elvis at a fake wedding would absolutely honor their true love.

Braunie shared, “And I sort of thought it was really powerful to stand in that chapel, even though it was Elvis, but actually take the vows and look her in the eye and say, ‘I do, I promise to be there for better or worse, in sickness and health, forever.’”

Eventually Jennifer and Braunwyn will make it legal. “There will be a time where I do the getting down on one knee … It’s not even a possibility. We are going to actually get married. We talk about it all the time,” she said.

While husband Sean remains close to the couple, we don’t know if he has been asked to share his statement necklace collection with Jennifer since he’s had to share everything else. Braunwyn and Sean’s divorce proceedings continue, as they attempt to reach an agreement on financial support.
