Unfortunately for us fans, Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7 is winding down. It’s been a wild and wonderful season that will be remembered for its A+ editing. I’d like to give a special shout-out to the sketch of Juan Dixon’s alleged mistress that looks a little like Karen Huger. That’s a bonafide relic of Real Housewives history at this point.
A lot has been going on in the RHOP universe this season. For example, Wendy Osefo and Mia Thornton have gone from fighting one minute to inspecting each other’s private areas the next. Or hooking up, if you ask Gizelle Bryant what went down on that final night in Mexico.
Candiace Dillard Bassett has also been activated all season. Ratata Candiace set her sights on Gizzy, who was trying to reach for some allegations about Chris Bassett that didn’t add up. Lucky for the Bassetts, we all saw right through another one of Gizelle’s attempts at making a story out of nothing.

CandeeGal has been rightfully upset about it all. Meanwhile, Gizzy has been either silent or supportive about Robyn Dixon’s fake marriage, in the words of the Grand Dame. Yet, she’s so pressed about Candiace’s husband for some reason. People are starting to notice the green-eyed bandits are losing their touch and are coming over to the fun side of Stanning Miss CandeePants.
Candiace recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live to dish about the end of RHOP Season 7. She was asked to tease some info about the reunion and hinted that the fans will be surprised and pleased with the upcoming episodes (via RealityBlurb!). Andy Cohen asked Candiace who she thought was in the hot seat the most at the reunion, and she picked Mia.
Mia has had a messy season, from the demise of her friendship with Jacqueline Blake to the cancer scare confusion. It would make sense for her to have a rough go after the most recent batch of episodes.
Andy tried to hint that Gizelle had it tough during the reunion. CandeeGal, who is far from Gizzy’s No. 1 fan, disagreed. “We were laughing at Mia, not with but at. It was not good,” Candiace said to defend her answer. Sounds like the ladies are pretty in tune with the fans’ not-so-fuzzy feelings about Messy Mia.
All I know is Robyn’s seat should’ve been on fire had she not waited til the cameras stopped rolling to reveal the truth of Juan’s unfaithfulness. It’s just nonsensical to even think of what the ladies discussed now knowing all of this new information.
Candiace also teased that despite moments of reconciliation, she’s done trying to make nice with Ashley Darby. “No thank you,” she said of a potential friendship. Ashley’s allegations about Chris flirting with her Cookie Monster friend obviously rubbed the Bassett Household the wrong way. Candiace has too much fun clowning Ashley to ever be best of buds with her again. I’m already thankful for the future shady confessionals that we’ll get from Candiace as a result.
