Dr. Drew Pinsky exclusively tells Page Six that Melanie “Mel B” Brown of the Spice Girls was “traumatized” by the sight of “white penises” while filming their new Fox reality show, “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
“I was a little nervous around Mel,” says the former “Loveline” host, 64, admitting that he was initially “starstruck” around the “Wannabe” singer.
But Scary Spice’s candid commentary on her white male co-stars’ members quickly cut any tension.
“The first day when we were in the car on our way to a challenge with her, we had to go take a pee and then she started complaining about how she was traumatized by all these white penises,” Pinsky recalls with a laugh.

“And that was the end of my nervousness around Mel!”
Pinsky and Brown, 47, are just two of 16 celebrities who traveled to the deserts of Jordan to participate in the grueling series — marked by such harsh conditions as extreme heat and makeshift bathrooms with little to no privacy.
Other white guys in the cast who could have possibly flashed the British songstress include retired NFL player Danny Amendola, Olympic skier Gus Kenworthy and fired White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.

The group — also featuring the likes of actress Jamie Lynn Spears, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore and ex-“Bachelorette” Hannah Brown — endured challenges taken straight from the US military’s playbook that aids in its Special Forces selection process.
Pinsky tells Page Six that the experience was “transformative” as it pushed him physically, mentally and emotionally.
“I think Fox was scared that by day one, everyone would just bail out. Because it’s that intense, but it forces you to grow — and I think every one of us grew and are grateful for that part of the show,” he explains. “I know I feel like a different person after it and I’m so glad I did it.”
The internist and addiction specialist notes that his medical residency helped him prepare for the “mental part” of participating in “Special Forces.”
“The mental part was no issue because I had been there and done that in my residency,” he says. “It was the physical stuff that was tougher for me, but I definitely came out of this thing stronger. I’m pretty proud of myself. I’m proud of the whole cast.”
And if a Season 2 takes place, Pinsky — who has long hosted MTV’s “Teen Mom” reunions — is recommending two women from the iconic reality TV franchise to Fox’s casting department.
“Maci [Bookout] did ‘Naked and Afraid,’ so she’d probably be OK with this,” he says. “And I think Leah [Messer], lately she has been on fire, and she might be up for it. These girls are tough.”

Pinsky adds, “That’s the headline for this whole series. Women are tough. So with that in mind, a lot of the girls from ‘Teen Mom’ would do great on this show.”
