Lenny Hochstein claims his shocking hot mic moment was edited in his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein’s favor.
The plastic surgeon tells Page Six exclusively that he thinks “Real Housewives of Miami” producers intentionally left out some of his commentary and further alleges that he repeatedly told Lisa he wanted a divorce.
“The fact is I told her dozens of times. She just either didn’t care or didn’t take me seriously,” Lenny tells us.
“The hot mic was edited, and they didn’t air the part of me complaining about her constant partying. They just put in a small part about me saying how I just go to work and come home and she does whatever she wants.”
Lenny, 56, says he believes Peacock wanted the reality star, 40, to “look like the innocent one” while he takes on the role of the “villain.”
“The fact is that I had already made the decision to leave Lisa,” he asserts. “It was my hope that it could wait until the filming ended.”
The self-proclaimed “boob god” also tells us he “couldn’t take it” anymore after Lisa hosted her “Good Vibes” party in April and immediately went to another bash, from which she returned home at 7:30 a.m. and “didn’t get out of bed all day.”
“I lost it and told her that I couldn’t take it,” he recalls. “Not even one more day.”
While Lisa has maintained that she was “blindsided” by Lenny’s desire to split, the doctor claims she’s lying because she had been “interviewing lawyers up to two years prior.”
“She knew what she was doing and already had plan,” he insists.
Lisa’s rep hit back at Lenny, however, telling us, “Sounds like something someone who got caught on a hot mic would say. It was his voice saying what he said on the mic.”
Lisa said on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” earlier this week that she was “devastated” by Lenny’s hot mic rant because she felt their marriage had improved.
“We’re holding hands. We’re taking photos together. Everything seemed lovely,” she recalled. “Two days later, he was acting super strange, and I asked him what’s up … and he said, ‘We’re getting a divorce, and … you’re going to get a front-row seat to me dating.’”
That “front-seat” has forced Lisa to watch Lenny’s relationship with his girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, gain traction, but Lisa appears to have moved on herself, as Page Six exclusively reported she was seen “canoodling” with tech entrepreneur Jody Glidden Monday night.
“He’s my friend. I’m not, like, dating anyone seriously at all,” Lisa later claimed to us. “Like, you know, of course I have friends. I meet people. I’m, you know, I’m not dead. Like, it’s been seven months [since the breakup]. But, you know, there’s no, like, serious relationship on the horizon. I’m just trying to live my life and have fun.”
