Larsa Pippen came for Julia Lemigova’s marriage to tennis legend Martina Navratilova while filming “The Real Housewives of Miami” — according to Dr. Nicole Martin.
In an exclusive new interview with Page Six, the reality star, 37, shares her take on Pippen spreading gossip that Lemigova — the first LGBTQIA+ “Housewife” — had been making out with a man and, effectively, cheating on her wife.
“There was some Instagram drama between them and it was some stupid, petty drama and then here [Pippen] comes, like, ‘I heard you’re making out with men,’ like, potentially trying to ruin a marriage,” says Martin, who has had her own past issues with Pippen, 48.
“Like, Instagram drama [versus] ‘Let me destroy your marriage’? This is a perfect example of how Larsa fights.”
In the trailer for “RHOM” Season 5 — which premiered Dec. 8 on Peacock — Pippen tells Lemigova directly, “Someone told me a week ago that you were making out with a man. And she took a photo of it.”
In a separate scene, Navratilova, 66, seems irate over the revelation.
“When is this going to stop?” the retired athlete asks Lemigova, 50, over a meal with the latter’s teenage daughter, Emma.
“I’m done,” Navratilova adds. “I’m done, OK?”
Despite the drama that plays out on the show, Martin believes the incident was blown out of proportion by Pippen.
“Julia is a little flirtatious, very sexual. She’s very comfortable with her sexuality,” the anesthesiologist says, acknowledging the Russian beauty’s decision to come out as queer later in life.
“I think she suppressed it for so many years that now she’s very much about embracing how she’s feeling.”
Photographic evidence of the smooch came during a night out on the town when paparazzi were present, Martin says.
“I think she is teasing the paparazzi. She’s out with her friend and they’re taking pictures and people were speculating,” she explains. “And she’s like, ‘You know what? You want a show? I’m going to give you one.’”
The doctor, a good friend of both Lemigova and Navratilova, asserts that the latter was well aware of the playful interaction despite Pippen’s alarmist delivery.
“Martina knew about it,” she tells us. “She didn’t give a s—t, so why are we trying to create drama where there is none?”
Lemigova’s friendship with Pippen doesn’t seem to be in a better place today — nor does Martin’s.
The two clashed throughout Season 4 and notably butted heads at the reunion — when Martin asked if Pippen’s ex-BFF Kim Kardashian made her sign an NDA, and Pippen shamed Martin for having a child out of wedlock. (Martin shares 3-year-old son Greyson with fiancé Anthony Lopez.)
“She’s still mad at me about stuff that happened at the reunion … when … I asked her about an NDA,” the medical professional says.
“I didn’t think that was a big deal. I live with a lawyer [Lopez]. I know a lot of people that have to sign NDAs and that was not meant as a personal attack at all. I was just like, ‘Maybe she can’t talk about [the Kardashians]. Let’s drop the subject.’ I swear to you it was totally innocent.”
Because Martin meant no harm, Pippen’s dig about her kid felt particularly painful.
“That was a really hard one for me to get over. Greyson’s the love of my life and for anyone to question his validity or, like, the circumstances under which he was created, to me, was really hurtful,” she says.
“And especially coming from a mom,” Martin elaborates, “someone who has kids.”
Pippen shares Scotty Jr., 22, Preston, 20, Justin, 17, and Sophia, 13, with ex-husband Scottie Pippen.
Martin tells Page Six that she and the OnlyFans creator face more conflict as Season 5 progresses.
“The NDA comment and [her comment about Greyson] have overshadowed our friendship and have really kept us from bonding,” she notes. ‘We have a couple other incidents this season that [are] …holding us back from fully committing to being friends.”
“The Real Housewives of Miami” Season 5 is available to stream on Peacock. New episodes drop Thursdays.
