Luann de Lesseps is taking Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis’ side after they called Bethenny Frankel “hypocritical” on a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum, 57, was answering fan questions during one of her recent Cabaret performances when a fan brought up the explosive episode.
When de Lesseps explained that she hadn’t seen the episode, the fan explained that Cohen and Lewis were “both calling [Frankel] out” for launching a “RHONY” recap podcast.
“Stop it! Oh my God! So they took care of it for me, yes! Love it, I love it! Wait how did she respond?” de Lesseps – who previously slammed Frankel’s podcast as “sad” and “pathetic” – asked the audience goers in a video posted to Reddit.
The crowd — who seemed to be mostly anti-Frankel fans — screamed that the Skinny Girl founder, 52, was “pissed.”
“I can’t wait! Oh my God, I’m gonna watch it tonight right after I get done playing blackjack,” de Lesseps excitedly continued. “Oh my God, how did I not know this? Oh, you know why? I’ve been on tour, and I’ve been playing [in] Chicago [and] Atlanta but still no excuse man.”
The “Money Can’t Buy You Class” singer’s fans cheered her on as one even shouted that Frankel needs to “stay in Connecticut.”
“She was pissed, because they cornered her! I love it, I love it! I can’t wait to watch this,” de Lesseps concluded.
During last week’s episode of “WWHL,” Cohen brought up his “major public feud” with Frankel after he expressed his “surprise” that she was launching the podcast.
“I thought it was kind of hypocritical of you to [launch the podcast] because you have been trashing the ‘Housewives’ publicly for the last three years,” Cohen told her.
Lewis got involved when he joked that “no one has a recap show for ‘Housewives.’” Frankel slammed him for being “bitter.”
The former “Housewife” later took to social media to share that both Lewis and Cohen apologized to her after the episode had aired.
