Brandi Carlile was the musical guest on the December 10 episode of Saturday Night Live. The Steve Martin and Martin Short–hosted episode saw Carlile perform the In These Silent Days cut “You and Me On The Rock” with Lucius and “The Story,” the title track from her 2007 sophomore LP. Carlile previously performed on Saturday Night Live in October 2021. On the episode, hosted by Jason Sudeikis, she played “Broken Horses” and “Right on Time.”

In These Silent Days is up for Album of the Year at the 2023 Grammy Awards. Carlile also received nominations for Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Americana Album, and more. She scored five nominations at the 2022 Grammys and played “Right on Time” during the televised ceremony.
