Adriana de Moura is ready to revive her friendship with former castmate Lea Black after her BFF-turned-foe made a cameo on “The Real Housewives of Miami” Season 5.
“Lea can be a great friend and she’s always there when you need her,” the reality star, 57, reflects in an exclusive interview with Page Six.
“That’s a side of her that I’ve always experienced,” she acknowledges. “And to my dismay, when our friendship crumbled, that’s the side of Lea I always missed because she was a supportive friend.”
De Moura notably fell out with Black, 66, during “RHOM” Season 3, which aired nearly 10 years ago on Bravo.
They clashed when Black took issue with de Moura’s decision to keep her legal marriage to now-ex-husband Frederic Marq a secret — before the pair celebrated their union in a lavish wedding ceremony and “Great Gatsby”-themed reception. (Black did not attend.)
“I never felt like what happened was correct in the sense that that was never my intention and I was never doing anything to hurt her or destroy our friendship,” de Moura explains.
“That was the circumstances that she felt in a certain way, but I never really wanted that to happen,” she elaborates, adding that she is “more than happy to go back to way the way we were.”
There is hope for a reconciliation, de Moura points out, as she and Black are on texting terms again.
“We’re amicable in the sense that her son recently just turned 21 and then she invited my son to the birthday party and he went and … they were like brothers in the moment,” she says, beaming over the persisting friendship between Black’s son, RJ Black, and her son, Alex, whom she shares with ex-husband Roberto Sidi.
“It warms my heart that she continues to include my son in her son’s life and they’re still there for each other,” de Moura continues.
“And I texted he thanking her and she said, ‘Yes, we love Alex. He’s such a good influence on RJ.’ So we respect each other for what our sons are to each other.”
“RHOM” was rebooted for Peacock in 2021 without the self-proclaimed “Mayor of Miami,” though she appears on the latest installment to console longtime pal Lisa Hochstein in the early stages of her split from now-estranged husband Lenny Hochstein.
“It was nice to see Lea and especially because I know that was legit, the fact that she was giving advice to Lisa,” de Moura says of the onscreen interaction.
“That’s something definitely that Lea would be doing cameras or no cameras, so it felt genuine. And to me, that’s important.”
While the “Fyah” musician feels the current “Miami” cast — including Hochstein, 40, Larsa Pippen, Alexia Echevarria, Dr. Nicole Martin, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova and fellow “friends of” Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth — is in a “sweet spot,” she would gladly welcome Lea into the mix.
“I would like that. I think it would be a nice addition. I think Lea brings something that none of us bring. She’s very charismatic and she has her persona, which is so unique to her,” de Moura tells Page Six.
“So I think it would be a good addition to the show … I think Lea will always have a place into the ‘Miami’ franchise.”
“The Real Housewives of Miami” Season 5 is available to stream on Peacock. New episodes drop Thursdays.
