Luis “Louie” Ruelas is still a fan of Joe Gorga – despite the latter’s ongoing feud with sister Teresa Giudice.
Ruelas, who is married to the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, gives props to Gorga on Wednesday’s installment of “Namaste B$tches” presented by PodcastOne.
“I met Joe through coincidence with Teresa and it was very humbling and settling,” Ruelas, 47, says in Page Six’s exclusive preview of the episode.
“The first moment I met Joe, I would even say both of us became very vulnerable within the first 10 minutes of the conversation.”
He continues, “Talked about my work as a man, working through s—t and all that stuff, like, you just like open up to him. Joe’s the kind of guy you can do that to, or with.”
Ruelas, who tied the knot with Giudice, 50, on Aug. 6 in a lavish Garden State ceremony, goes on to say that he first met Gorga, 48, at the aspiring comedian’s beach house.
“We went down for the day and it was beautiful. There was no complaints at all,” he says before addressing Giudice directly: “Joe at the core, really, your brother, honestly, at the core … your brother really is … a good human being.”
The Bravolebrity agrees with Ruelas’ assessment, adding in the clip, “When you first met him, everything was good, right?”
The siblings had a falling out in August when Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga, did not attend Giudice and Ruelas’ nuptials after an explosive fight broke out while filming the Season 13 finale of “RHONJ.”
Tensions were fueled when Giudice brought up rumors that Melissa, 43, had an affair with longtime friend Nick Barrotta, which a source told us the Gorgas “laughed off.”
Speaking to Page Six at BravoCon in October, Joe said that the familial discord was taking a toll on his emotional state.
“At this point, I just don’t know what else to say. I’m tired. I’m tired of talking about this for 13 years,” he said at the time, referencing the many ups and downs in his relationship with Giudice since “RHONJ” premiered in 2009.
“I’m 48 years old, and I’m happy that I woke up this morning and happy that I have healthy kids, a beautiful wife, a beautiful life, and I just want to be happy, man,” he elaborated. “This kind of drama is ruining my life.”
Bravo has yet to announce a premiere date for “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” Season 13.
