Manny MUA ‘honored’ that Dennis Rodman asked for his glam skills on ‘The Surreal Life’

Reality TV

You know your glam skills are good when Dennis Rodman asks for them.

Manny Gutierrez, known as Manny MUA, exclusively tells Page Six Style that he was “honored” when the controversial athlete, 61, asked the beauty influencer, 31, to do his makeup while filming VH1’s reboot of “The Surreal Life.”

“To be able to be there and just to share the room with him and share this experience with him was truly so amazing,” says Manny, who “sadly” never had time to give Rodman a beat during the monthlong production.

“He was such a trailblazer for so long.”

For decades, Rodman has made headlines for his multiple arrests, rehab stints, high-profile romances with the likes of Carmen Electra and Madonna and unexpected friendships with such political figures as North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and 45th US President Donald Trump.

But, during the ‘90s and early 2000s, the former NBA player tantalized the public with his gender-bending style, including a penchant for vibrant cosmetics and dressing in drag — even during basketball games.

Rodman also memorably wore a white wedding gown and strawberry blond wig to “marry” himself in 1996.

“He’s lived such a colorful life,” Manny acknowledges, adding that he had hoped to put Rodman “back in drag” if the reality show’s hectic schedule hadn’t interfered.

“I would’ve wanted to do a full [look] because he has such a canvas to be really painted down. And he takes makeup well,” says the Internet personality, who boasts 4.3 million Instagram followers.

“Like, he’s literally worn makeup his entire life,” he elaborates. “So it would’ve been really fun to put him in drag.”

Although Manny wasn’t able to give Rodman glam — or any other cast member for that matter, as he was “exhausted” by nonstop filming — he made himself available to dole out tips and tricks.

“I can barely glam myself!” he shares with a laugh. “But I remember we had a little girls’ night and they’re like, ‘Oh, can you help me put on a lash?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, I got you.’ Or it was like, ‘Should I put on some highlighter?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, put it on.’ I was always there for those moments.”

Manny says that ex-WWE star CJ Perry — a diehard fan of his — readily soaked up any and all advice.

“She was such a fan of me and she made that clear the moment I walked in the house,” he says. “So, that was really cool. And she’s such a makeup girlie. I’m obsessed with her and loved that she was into everything I had to say about makeup.”

However, Stormy Daniels — the adult film actress, 43, best known for her alleged 2006 tryst with Trump, 76 — refused to wash her face nightly despite Manny’s frequent encouragement.

“She wouldn’t listen to me!” he says. “That’s cool, it’s her choice. But I just wanted her to wipe the makeup off and start over fresh every day. Love a good beat, but we have to wash it off at night! Always.”

For his part, Manny relied on a handful of beauty staples to stay camera-ready throughout the “Surreal Life” experience.

“I have this kit that I bring with me that I know is going to do me good,” he says, revealing that TooFaced’s Born This Way 24-Hour Longwear Matte Finish Foundation ($45) and Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer ($36) are among his go-tos.

Manny also employed products from his own cosmetics line, Lunar Beauty. “You know I had to bring my own brand with me,” says the entrepreneur, who just launched an Outer Dimension collection ($49 to $150) and Advent Calendar palette ($50) ahead of the holidays.

“I didn’t bring everything I have in my collection, but it’s all made to last,” he notes. “And it did.”
