Leva Bonaparte explains why she re-followed Madison LeCroy after feud

Reality TV

“Southern Charm” star Leva Bonaparte revealed she and co-star Madison LeCroy patched things up off-camera following a very explosive and challenging Season 8.

After feuding on and off-camera over a multitude of reasons, Bonaparte tells Page Six that “[LeCroy] came to my birthday [in May] and apologized to me.”

The 43-year-old continued, “So we’re heading down a road, you know, whereas, like the others, did not [apologize].”

LeCroy’s apology was sufficient enough that Bonaparte thought it was fair they’d follow each other on social media again.

Bonaparte and LeCroy’s newfound friendship comes after the former unfollowed several of her co-stars after the season finale party filmed in December.

Aside from LeCroy, Austen Kroll, Kathryn Dennis, Venita Aspen and Craig Conover — as well as his Bravolebrity girlfriend Paige DeSorbo — all got unfollowed.

The Charleston restaurateur insinuated that during the party — which supported Conover’s business, Sewing Down South — the two got into a heated argument over the way he was speaking and raising his voice at her. Amid their explosive argument, those people took his side over hers.

“It boiled down to them sort of piling on with Craig,” she explained. “When Craig was sort of just like in his screaming thing, then they were like, ‘Oh, we hate her.’”

Bonaparte further explained that she was specifically “disappointed” in Kroll, 35, because he didn’t stand up for her when Conover, 33, attacked her.

“Where’s that for me while he’s screaming at me? I do think that Craig is a force, and sometimes people can get a little scared to speak up when he’s like in his place,” she said.

As for Aspen, Bonaparte “lost respect” after she “turned on” her during the intense argument.

“Kathryn and I probably just should not follow [each other], to be honest, at this point,” Bonaparte simply said, referring to their on-again-off-again friendship over the years.

The Season 8 finale of “Southern Charm” airs Thursday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
