Jen Shah bragged about making ‘millions’ in early ‘RHOSLC’ interview

Admitted fraudster Jen Shah bragged about making “millions” in an interview conducted for “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 1.

“What I’ve done for the last 20 years is direct response marketing. I make millions,” the embattled Bravo personality, 48, boasted in a confessional filmed on Dec. 9, 2019.

“Hey, you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do for money. I’m like the Wizard of Oz.”

Notably, Shah’s Instagram bio still includes, “Direct Response Marketing.”

The clip is included in the first two minutes of Wednesday’s “RHOSLC” Season 3 premiere, which illustrates the difference three years has made in the lives of Shah and her castmates Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose.

Shah’s fraud case is, of course, primarily covered in the next installment of the hit reality show.

“Our time is coming. I just can’t lie to you,” Sharrieff Shah Sr. tells his wife in 2022. “This is a test for all of us.”

Elsewhere, Jen admits that her ongoing legal drama is taking a toll.

“I want to f–king kill myself and just not be here,” she says in the sneak peek, later exclaiming, “Everything’s been taken away from me. Everything!”

Jen allegedly scammed hundreds of people out of money through a nationwide telemarketing scheme, predominantly targeting elderly folks.

Her March 2021 arrest was documented on “RHOSLC.”

In July, Jen pleaded guilty when she appeared in front of US District Judge Sidney Stein in Manhattan federal court, reversing her previous not guilty plea.

Jen’s plea agreement calls for up to 14 years in prison and restitution of up to $9.5 million. The reality star — who previously proclaimed her innocence in court and on “RHOSLC” — is scheduled to be sentenced on Nov. 28.

Through it all, Jen has been able to lean on co-stars Marks, 50, and Gay, 40, who met her in New York City ahead of her pre-trial hearing.

“Jen and I are still speaking. And more than ever, I think she probably needs some support from people around her,” Marks recently told Page Six of her decision to show support.

“It is still an open case. She has not been sentenced, so it’s nothing she can speak freely about,” the jewelry designer continued. “So that’s why I would never ask any questions either — because I know she can’t talk about it.”

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 3 premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
