The plot thickens.
When “Below Deck Mediterranean” star Hannah Ferrier had her daughter in October 2020, fans believed a “Southern Charm” cast member had donated his sperm to help her conceive — instead of her getting pregnant the old-fashioned way.
However, they had no idea she had actually been dating her now-husband, Josh Roberts, since 2018.
Talking to Page Six exclusively, she said of the fan conspiracies, “It got to the stage where I was like pregnant and engaged, and then there was this massive Reddit thread about how I had gotten a sperm donor, and I was completely making [my fiancé] up, and it was somebody from ‘Southern Charm’ or something that I got to donate sperm so I could have a baby. It was so weird.”
Ferrier and Roberts actually met in 2018 shortly after she had wrapped up filming Season 4 of “Below Deck Mediterranean.” The couple went on to welcome their daughter, Ava Grace, in October 2020 and got engaged a month later.
However, it wouldn’t be until January 2021 that she would announce on Instagram that she was both a fiancée and a mom. The couple tied the knot in March 2022 in Australia.
The Jenny Craig ambassador, 35, further explained that Robert’s absence from her social media seemed to be more important than her pregnancy and engagement.
After seeing the fans’ reactions, she encouraged him to let her post a photo to stop the drama from “gaining momentum” and beat the paparazzi to it.
“The funniest thing was I think I posted a photo and then like literally that weekend the paparazzi got us in Sydney anyway,” she told us.
“I know a few people who were like, ‘Oh my God, I hope your wedding was recorded,’” Ferrier continued. “I’m like, ‘You have not met my husband.’ Hell would freeze over before he would let that happen.”
The Bravolebrity has since been working with Jenny Craig to help her get back her pre-pregnancy body.
“I really want to try and help and support other women on their journey because especially, you know, as you get older – like I’m only 35 – but your metabolism slows down, things get harder,” she tells us. “I found Jenny Craig was such a good solution to the problem.”
