Denise Richards Says She’s Always In A Good Place With Ex-Husband Charlie Sheen

Reality TV

Denise Richards has the patience of a saint. Maybe not when it comes to the ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But definitely when it comes to her ex, Charlie Sheen. The two have had plenty of issues during their marriage and subsequent divorce. But Denise seems more unbothered than ever about their unconventional relationship. Much like when she invited his sex worker friends over for Thanksgiving. I love that story.

But their 18 year-old daughter Sami Sheen’s recent decision to join OnlyFans put them at odds. Even if it was only for a few days. Thankfully, they quickly became a united front on how to support Sami. And Denise recently told Us Weekly that the two remain on good terms. She said of Charlie, “I’m always in a good place with him. I think it’s great to be able to support one another and to not have judgment of what something may or may not be.”

When news broke that Sami joined the adult-themed platform, Charlie was not happy. He fired off a clipped statement. Said Charlie, “She is 18 years old now and living with her mother. Since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity.”

Denise took a more supportive route and immediately defended Sami’s choice. She commented, “Sami is 18, and this decision wasn’t based on whose house she lives in. All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices.” Denise also took to Instagram to address Sami’s haters. Once there, she even tease that she might start her own OnlyFans. Which is exactly what she did a few days later.

She shared of her decision to join, “There’s all different genres and all different people on OnlyFans, just like there are on Instagram and on Twitter and Facebook. It’s 18 and above and you can be your true, authentic self and what one does or agrees with and someone else doesn’t, it doesn’t matter. You get to be you on there and monetize for yourself and own your content.” Denise added, “I just think it’s something also very empowering to be able to be supportive of it.”

And the mother of 3 has plenty of support of her own. Husband Aaron Phypers, who she married in 2018, has been on board since the beginning. A source revealed, “Aaron is right behind Denise and loves how confident and empowered she’s being. They have a very healthy and secure relationship, a white-hot love life and he’s more attracted to her than he’s ever been.”
