Dr. Jen Armstrong Is Leaving Real Housewives Of Orange County

Reality TV

Say goodbye to another cast member of Real Housewives of Orange County. You can now call season “Sweet Sixteen” the season of “One and Done.” Rookie Noella Bergener just announced she will not be retuning to the show. Now Dr. Jen Armstrong, another first season Housewife, is done. I think we all know what “leaving the show” is code for and I will leave it at that.

Dr. Jen announced the news on her Instagram, right around the same time Noella shared via her Instagram Stories. Jen began in a lengthy post, “I loved opening up about being a working mom on Real Housewives of Orange County. I am so grateful to have had the privilege to talk about my father, my kids, and a real modern relationship on national television. My family and my work are the most important aspects of my life, so I am stepping away from RHOC and focusing on them.”

She went on to thank the fans, specifically other working moms. Said Jen, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out in support- especially from the working moms. Women can really have it all if you work for it. I believe in you, and I’ll still be here to chat about it with you. I love inspiring people to be their best.”

Finally, she expressed gratitude to Bravo and the RHOC production company. Jen concluded, “I am forever grateful for the friends I made, and the lovely people at @bravo & @evolutionmedia. Here’s to the next chapter, and I hope you’ll follow along for the journey. There are so many exciting things to come, so stay tuned.”

Jen debuted on her one and only season of RHOC to not much fan fare. The cosmetic dermatologist struggled to connect with viewers and often seemed hesitant to join in on the cast drama. Her storyline revolved around the bumps in her 8 year marriage to husband Ryne Holliday. The two have since announced their split and Dr. Jen officially filed for divorce in June. The couple share 3 kids together.

Unfortunately for Jen, her “journey” will likely contain some time in the courtroom. Aside for her divorce, she currently has a few lawsuits pending against her. One suit accuses her of employing and unlicensed doctor at her practice. And yet another from an equipment leasing company that alleged she didn’t pay up. Finally, Jen has multiple suits against her from former patients, including one who is claiming “medial assault and battery.

Fans took to the comments to offer their support, along with disappointment about her exit. Said one fan, “Nooooo!!! You’re the only nice one!!!! But seriously, good for you & good luck!” Another added, “The Bravoverse is better for having you.”

I won’t really miss Jen, but I wish her luck!
