Real Housewives One Hit Wonders Who Deserved A Second Season

Reality TV

Hey Real Housewives fans! Remember Cindy Barshop from Real Housewives of New York? I don’t either. What about Peggy Sulahian from Real Housewives of Orange County? Yeah, wish I could forget her too. What do these two have in common? They were both one season wonders, and it just makes sense, doesn’t it? But what about the women who deserved a second season in a full time role? Here’s five, whom in my opinion were let go or demoted too soon!

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s DeShawn Snow

Who could forget DeShawn Snow from Season 1 of Real Housewives of Atlanta? I personally constantly think about this woman. DeShawn was a full time, original cast member during Season 1 and in case you forgot, DeShawn is the first housewife in history to host an auction and lose money for under-privileged children. She was also accused of committing fraud in 2019 – but in her defense, I just don’t think she has the smarts or business sense to pull off a proper scam. DeShawn’s airheaded-ness was richly entertaining and deserving of a second season!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Carlton Gebbia

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans remember Carlton Gebbia because she was a witch. That tattoo on her neck was a symbol for Wicca – the pagan religion – and definitely not a Jewish Star okay Kyle Richards?! Kyle made an honest mistake but Carlton wouldn’t let it go. In fact, Carlton and Kyle hated each other so much that Kyle has even said she prefers to think Season 4 never happened. Anyone who ruffles Kyle’s feathers is a good housewife in my book. I’d personally love to see her make a comeback.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Joyce Giraud

Okay I know what you’re thinking – two women from RHOBH? And from the same season nonetheless? Yeah, I’m doing it because Season 4 of RHOBH is phenomenal. If you haven’t done a re-watch, please, allow yourself the time, it’s worth it! Joyce Giraud – or Lotoya Jackson if you’re Jax Taylor – was a one hit wonder who should have gotten a second season. Joyce, unlike the other women during this time, single-handedly stood up to Brandi Glanville’s bigoted ways all while keeping her composure and looking absolutely perfect. Joyce was never given the credit she deserved, and I’d love to see her make a cameo again.

Real Housewives of Potomac’s Katie Rost

Katie Rost is a polarizing figure on Real Housewives of Potomac. We first met this elite socialite Season 1, when she was a full time cast member. We did see Katie appear on the show again in Season 2 and again briefly in Season 4. But I’m afraid we won’t ever see her again because she was quite vocal about not being invited to the Season 4 reunion. Katie went off on Instagram about Andy Cohen, Bravo, and Ashley Darby’s husband, Michael Darby. She even referred to Michael as “Chester the Molester.” Obviously, Katie tells it like it is, and isn’t that what a housewife is supposed to do? Karen Huger thinks so, that’s for sure! In my book, she deserved a second season in a full-time role, and she knows it too!

Real Housewives of Orange County’s Lizzie Rovsek

Lizzie Rovsek got on my nerves the first time I watched Season 9 of RHOC. In my head, she came after Tamra Judge a little too hard. But recently, I did a re-watch, and wow! Lizzie is one of few people who can make Tamra squirm! Props to Lizzie for causing Tamra to run away from the dinner table in Bali, screaming, “You will never see my face again!” Lizzie is also responsible for the party where Shannon Beador screamed “you will all see the truth!” Bottom line, Lizzie brought a lot of great drama that moved the plot forward, yet she was reduced to a friend for her second season. Wrong call Bravo!
