Love Is Blind Season Four Has Started Filming In Seattle

Reality TV

Love is Blind is taking no days off! According to Capital Hill Seattle the show is busy producing their fourth season in the Emerald City! The cast and crew have already been sighted in Seattle’s Capital Hill neighborhood filming in coffee and self-pour beer venues. Classic!

When it comes to dating in Seattle, eligible men and women repeatedly cite the “Seattle Freeze” as a barrier to meeting new singles. Apparently the city isn’t known for welcoming newcomers to the tech-centered social scene. My guess is the lack of sunlight and vitamin D. Or maybe it’s just that everyone is a super nerd? Hopefully Netflix can help bring some romance to these daters!

According to reports, the show selected the Pacific Northwest cast based on answers to questions like, “Are you open to dating someone who is divorced and/or has children,” “What are your deal breakers?” and “Where are you currently meeting potential mates?” Applicants had to be 21 and over, and of course were required to include a headshot.

Things to add to your fourth season Seattle bingo card include: beards, Starbucks, morose weather, plaid, Doc Martens, pink and/or blue hair, and probably a dog or three. Your free space should be anything related to Amazon, Microsoft, or Boeing.

Season 2 of Love is Blind was released on Netflix in February, with Season 3 set to premiere later this year. According to executive producers, there is often too much madness to fit into the 10-episode seasons.

“We didn’t even begin to tell the stories of the other engagements that happened, or lots of the other really fascinating, multi-layer relationships that went on,” they said. The shows creator also replied to criticism that the show doesn’t always follow the best storyline.

“I think it’s very funny for people to say, ‘Oh, you put somebody who was, you know, heavier in there, and then you just didn’t follow them.” He added, “It’s not like anybody wants that to happen or doesn’t want that to happen. What I want to have happen is just to be true to the experiment. You put people in there. They can’t see each other. If they fall in love, then we follow it and if they don’t, we don’t.”
