Once again, Big Thief have been featured on late-night television. Following recent remote appearances on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the band remotely played “Certainty” on last night’s episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden. Watch the performance below.

Yesterday, it was announced that James Corden will step away from The Late Late Show in 2023. “When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that. It was going to be a journey—an adventure,” Corden remarked. “I never saw it as my final destination, you know? And I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think in a year from now that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there.”

Big Thief shared “Certainty” in September 2021, months before announcing and releasing their new album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You. Read the feature “Big Thief on Learning to Loosen Up and Their Epic New 20-Track Album.”
