‘RHONJ’ recap: Teresa Giudice storms off after Luis Ruelas rumors surface

Reality TV

She had enough.

Tuesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” saw Teresa Giudice storm off after rumors about her now-fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, were discussed among the cast.

The ladies of “RHONJ” and their husbands were enjoying a quick getaway to the Jersey Shore, where Ruelas, 46, was supposed to meet them. But the real estate pro stalled his entrance, putting Giudice, 49, on high alert.

The OG Bravo star eventually learned from a show producer that Ruelas was worried about being grilled over Page Six’s exclusive report detailing his allegedly “sex-obsessed” behavior in previous relationships.

He was also, presumably, concerned about having to answer for a bizarre video that surfaced this month, showing him begging a mystery woman for forgiveness while surrounded by unclothed men shouting expletives on a beach.

“Teresa just texts me and is like, ‘Do not say a word, make sure you do the right thing. Back up my boyfriend,’” Giudice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, told Margaret Josephs and Jackie Goldschneider at the Gorga’s shore house.

“Guess what? You know what that means? She’s going to have a f—king freakout,” Josephs, 54, responded. “That’s what that means.”

In a confessional, the “On Display” podcast host, 42, elaborated, “Teresa’s no dummy. Even if we don’t talk about Louie to her face, she must realize that everyone’s talking and she basically just told us all, ‘You better shut up.’”

Back at Dolores and Frank Catania’s shore house, Giudice chatted with a producer about her man’s absence.

Giudice, who got engaged to Ruelas in October, told a “RHONJ” producer that her man “does not have to prove anything.”

“What happened with Louie?” she asked.

“I want to talk to you about it,” the producer replied. “We talked to him in the parking lot, and he’s all upset … I think he feels like everyone is talking about him, and he wants to know why.”

Giudice then revealed that she instructed Ruelas “not to come around” if he feels like he is going to be questioned about his past.

“Louie did not sign up for this, to be antagonized, to be questioned, anything,” she told the camera. “I’m in the public eye, not Louis.”

Giudice told the producer that Ruelas “does not have to prove anything,” but the producer reminded the reality TV veteran that “the story’s out there.”

Still, Giudice made it clear that she did not want to “discuss it,” later explaining in a confessional that Ruelas is the “love of [her] life” and she wants to protect him.

“They’re not happy for us,” Giudice told the producer of her castmates, who she believes want to “sabotage” her relationship with Ruelas.

In addition to Page Six’s exclusive report about Ruelas’ allegedly “sex-obsessed” behavior, he made headlines in 2021 for a bizarre video that surfaced on social media.

The “Skinny Italian” author then made a beeline for the door.

“Where are you going?” the producer asked, to which an incensed Giudice fired back, “I’m leaving! You guys are the devil.”

Aware that cameras were still following her as she made her exit, Giudice then spewed, “Why are you still filming? Go f—k yourself, I’m serious!”

And with that, she sped off in her matte pink Range Rover.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
