Meghan King Says Split From Joe Biden’s Nephew Didn’t “Make Any Impact” On Her Kids’ Lives

Reality TV

Meghan King is famous for sniffing out Brooks Ayers’ cancer scam and Vicki Gunvalson proved to be psychic after she capped Meghan’s marriage to Jim Edmonds at five years. Turns out, both women can spot bad men when they’re examining other people’s relationships, they just can’t do it for themselves. Meghan recently pointed out that she and Vicki are both drawn to narcissistic men, and when you think about it, she’s totally right! Jim and Brooks are two of the worst men to appear on Real Housewives of Orange County, so when Meghan and Vicki ended their respective relationships to these guys we all breathed a sigh of relief.

The problem, however, is that Vicki and Meghan have terrible taste in men and move really fast. Vicki moved on from Brooks and pressured Steve Lodge to put a ring on it almost immediately. Just look how that ended up! Steve is engaged to a 37-year-old and Vicki’s hosting singles nights at The Hustlers Club. Megan, on the other hand, announced late last year that she was marrying Cuffe Owens, President Biden’s nephew, after four weeks of dating. Then, shocking no one, they called it quits after two months of marriage. The marriage was so short, Meghan says her kids don’t even notice Cuffe’s absence.

In an exclusive interview with Us WeeklyMeghan shared that she “has ‘no rules’ when it comes to introducing her three children to her partners.” Meghan clarified that her kids, five-year-old Aspen, and 3-year-old twins Hart and Hayes, have “only met two [of her boyfriends].” One boyfriend was Christian Schauf, who was her “first boyfriend [after splitting from Jim Edmonds in 2019.” She claims that the kids “didn’t spend a lot of time with him.”

After Christian, came Cuffe, and even though Meghan’s kids were involved in their wedding, she thinks their divorce won’t make “any kind of deep impact on their lives.” Meghan shared in the interview, “I was married to [Cuffe] and he lived with me and obviously [my children] had to meet him. But that was a quick relationship, so I don’t think either person made any kind of deep impact on their lives.”

There’s almost too much to unpack here. While it’s a good thing that Cuffe’s absence won’t make an impact on the kids, it’s interesting that Meghan would be so willing to marry someone that didn’t know her children well, and vice versa. Marriage is (usually) a permanent thing, so wouldn’t you want to wait to see if your partner and children got along? I’m not a parent though, so who knows!

Bottom line, Meghan has “no rules” when it comes to dating and integrating her partner with her kids. Here’s hoping she finds someone better suited for her, and for her children down the line. In the meantime, she should be like Vicki and embrace being single!
