These days, the hardest Kardashian (insider) to keep up with is Kanye West. One minute, he’s galavanting with Julia Fox. The next, he’s begging for Kim Kardashian to take him back. No seriously — sometimes these things occur during the same day and on social media for all of us to watch. It’s a lot to take in.
Kimmy is living her best life and trying to ignore the noise that Kanye, who legally changed his name is Ye, is broadcasting online. She’s currently dating SNL comedian Pete Davidson, and Ye’s not too happy about that either. Kanye is not happy watching Kim happily date, even though he’s doing the same thing and being 10x more public about it. He even threatened to beat Pete’s ass in a song, so it’s getting messy.
Meanwhile, Kim and Pete are trying to be unbothered (and hopefully prepare for the next iteration of Keeping Up With The Kardashians). In a recent interview with People, Pete FINALLY referred to Kimmy as his girlfriend. It’s getting serious people. I bet Kanye is in the corner of an overly-crowded restaurant somewhere, rage texting who knows who.
Pete was discussing his decision to forgo social media and keep a lower profile. He says most of his life is centered around work, so its nothing too exciting. “Or, if I’m off, I just either hang with my friends or chill with my girlfriend inside. So I don’t do much,” he said. What a subtle yet official announcement. I wonder what Kim’s PR team AKA Kris Jenner thinks about Pete taking things more public (she probably loves it).
Pete also talked about fame, which he said isn’t bad. “Once in a while, someone will scream something at you, or it might be hard to get Dunkin’ Donuts. But other than that, it’s pretty fine. It’s not awful. I could be way worse,” he said. He’s giving off very chill vibes in this interview and honestly, I think Kim needs some low-key fun in her life.
