Porsha Williams’ Fiance Simon Guobadia Owes $200K In Feud Over Florida Mansion

Reality TV

The controversial relationship between Porsha Williams and fiancé Simon Guobadia has caused a lot of people to jump on the Porsha Hate Train. With a suspect timeline of Simon’s breakup from then-wife, Falynn Guobadia, who just so happened to be on Real Housewives of Atlanta with Porsha, Porsha was deemed a man stealer. But despite some mud-slinging in the press, all parties have moved on. And Porsha has used the drama to capitalize off of her chaotic new love. She ditched another season of RHOA and signed on for her own spin off, Porsha’s Family Matters.

Unfortunately for Porsha, I don’t think it helped her imagine like she might have thought it would. The families fought nonstop and Porsha didn’t present herself in a good light. Not even a decent one, if we are being honest. And Simon? He just came across as an old bore.

But he is rich so I guess that’s all Porsha needs. Forgive me for being skeptical for her love for him but let’s just keep it real here. Anyway, being rich does come with its pitfalls, I guess. As reported by Radar Online, Simon is now on the hook for $200K after a real estate deal that didn’t pan out. According to court documents, a judge has ordered Simon to cough up the money that was put down as a deposit before the deal went south. The money is supposed to go back to the homeowner.

Back in August, Suzy Levy and the title company Sunbelt Title Agency, filed the lawsuit against Simon. Suzy claims that Simon agreed to purchase her home for $5.8 million. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida mansion boasts 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms and over 7,000 sq. ft. Suzy alleges that Simon agreed to pay a $200K deposit on the property.

The suit read, in part, “The buyer is in default of his obligations under the Contract and has materially breached the contract by, among other things (a) failing to purchase the property in accordance with the terms of the contract, (b) failing to close the transaction contemplated by the contract on or before the closing date, and (c) refusing to permit the escrow agent to pay the deposit to the seller despite prior demand.”

Suzy claimed in court that she turned in all the executed seller documents to the closing agent but then things started to fall apart on Simon’s end of the deal. Suzy said Simon refused to pay the remaining balance of the property sale. Now Suzy is demanding the $2ooK deposit, which is currently being held by a third party. Naturally, Simon denied defaulting on the sale and requested mediation.

Court records indicate that Simon never filed a response to the lawsuit, so the judge entered the default judgment, ordering Simon to pay the deposit back.
