Scheana Shay’s Fiancé Brock Davies Says He Received “Zero” Dollars For Vanderpump Rules

Reality TV

I’m one of the few hopefuls who believe Vanderpump Rules should have a tenth season. The final episode and both of the reunions showed so much promise and let the audience know that there’s more story to tell. Watching Lala Kent and James Kennedy navigate single life would be a show in itself.

The MVP award for Season 9 should go to Brock Davies though. Every episode revolved around something Brock said or did. No doubt this man is a giant bouquet of red flags, but he’s also a master of unintentional comedy. After all, he and Scheana Shay are trying to float the story that he was just exercising Aussie humor when he paid for her engagement ring with four credit cards. But it turns out, Brock may have shown us how cheap he could go for good reason – and it’s not just because he’s behind in child support.

According to Heavy, “During a January 2022 appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, hosted by Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, Davies… explained that he was not considered a main cast member but rather his fiancee’s ‘plus one’ during ‘Vanderpump Rules’ season 9.” This means that Brock didn’t get paid for any of the drama he delivered on the show.

Brock clarified, “I went into this season to just commit to – that’s what happens when Scheana has a contract with these guys, it’s her whole life and guess what that involves me and her child.” Then one of the hosts asked Brock point blank if he “got nothing” for being on VPR. Brock replied, “zero baby.” At least he’s used to that amount?

Brock did however acknowledge, “that despite not getting paid, he was grateful for his experience filming season 9.” He said, “but look I get to speak to you guys now and the fact that like I got to spend that much time with my kid, growing up at home with her for eight months, we had such a blessing with that, it comes with that and in time it will turn into a revenue.” He sounds pretty confident; like he was made for reality TV or something!

Brock continued, saying, “I went into the season just putting my best foot forward for Scheana and supporting her because yeah, she gets a decent crack at the money from it.” That’s some way of putting it, Brock.

In all seriousness though, Brock gave us so much for free. Imagine what he’ll do on screen once he’s getting some money!

TELL US- DO YOU THINK BROCK SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID? DO YOU THINK HE’LL BECOME A FULL TIME CAST MEMBER FOR SEASON 10? DO YOU WANT BROCK TO RETURN TO VPR?
