On Sunday night, Madison Chock and Evan Bates placed first in the ice dancing free dance team event at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Their routine was soundtracked by a medley of songs from Daft Punk’s final album, Random Access Memories. It included moments from “Within,” “Contact,” and “Touch.” Watch it happen below.

Nearly one full year ago, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo announced their breakup with a 8-minute cinematic video titled “Epilogue.” That video, like Chock and Bates’ performance, featured an excerpt from “Touch.” Read a retrospective of the band’s career in music videos, “Long Live Daft Punk’s Music Videos.”
