Matmos have announced a new album, Regards​/​Ukłony dla Bogusław Schaeffer. The latest album from the electronic duo of M. C. Schmidt and Drew Daniel arrives May 20 via Thrill Jockey. Matmos have also shared a first offering, “Flight to Sodom / Lot do Salo.” Listen and check out the tracklist below.

Regards​/​Ukłony dla Bogusław Schaeffer is inspired by the Polish experimental composer Bogusław Schaeffer, whose compositions are reassembled throughout. The album features contributions from harpist Úna Monaghan, multi-instrumentalist Ulas Kurugullu, electronic artist Will Schorre, and Horse Lords’ Max Eilbach.

Matmos released their previous album, The Consuming Flame: Open Exercises in Group Form, in 2020. Revisit Pitchfork’s feature “The Secret Language of Laundry: Inside Matmos’ Washing Machine Album.”
