I feel like Erika Jayne is never going to leave our news cycle. And for good reason, I guess. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been surrounded by controversy for close to a year and a half now. Ever since she announced her divorce from husband Tom Girardi, the accusations started flying. The fact that Tom was quickly charged with alleged fraud and embezzlement, made the timing of her divorce filing that much more suspicious.
Most recently, Erika gloated over a supposed win in court with one of the larger lawsuits against her being dismissed. But it was short lived, as the attorney for the case said he only dismissed it in Illinois so he could refile in the state of California. So not the win Erika was thinking it was.
But given how precarious her situation is, one would think that Erika might be a little more careful about what she says. She must have missed the memo. Radar Online is reporting that The Real’s host Loni Love had a strange conversation with Erika at a party recently. The co-host of the show, which also includes Adrienne Bailon and RHOBH castmate Garcelle Beauvais, dove in. According to Loni, Erika came up to her privately at Garcelle’s birthday party. Adrienne was also present for the conversation.
Loni admitted that she was already nervous about being seen with Erika, given Erika’s legal woes. But Adrienne said she wanted to see what Erika had to say. Because, she explained, “you always want to hear someone out.” But Erika told Loni, who is Black, that the people who believe her the most are Black people. Adrienne jumped in to correct Loni. Adrienne said that Erika actually referenced her own skin color and claimed that it’s white people who don’t believe her. Either way, what a weird conversation to have. Especially with two women of color. Or just in general. Like is Erika taking polls on Instagram? Where is she getting this information?

Either way, talked turned to the news that Erika has refused to give up $1.4 million earrings that Tom gave her. According to the attorney investigating Tom, he bought the earrings with client funds. Therefore, as part of the bankruptcy recovery, Erika needs to turn them over. She has yet to comply.
Garcelle weighed in and said, “I would give up the diamonds quickly. There’s so much more she could do, even if she’s not guilty of knowing everything Tom was doing.” Her co-hosts agreed. Could Garcelle’s opinion have something to do with her recently unfollowing Erika on social media? Season 12 is currently filming and there are plenty of leaks about some serious fighting going on. And knowing Erika, I have no doubt she’s a part of it.
