Selling Sunset: Chrishell Hopes To Date Someone ‘Not In The Industry’

Movies

In light of Chrishell Stause’s recent romance drama, both on and off of Selling Sunset, the reality star shared that she wants to date someone “not in the industry.” Without much luck when it comes to love, Chrishell has recently been grappling with not only her divorce from Jason Hartley but also her mixed feelings regarding Jason Oppenheim. Seemingly fine when it comes to big romantic changes over the course of the last couple of years, Chrishell has moved from marriage to dating and back into being single. Dedicated to her own emotional well-being, the Netflix star is not willing to settle for anything less than her dream partner, willing to wait for the right man to come around.

While Chrishell is open to finding a life partner and someone to have children with, she has had plenty of scenarios to distract her from her various complications when it comes to men. From her estrangement from Christine Quinn to a newfound friendship with Emma Hernan, Chrishell has had more than enough on her plate over the past year when it comes to Selling Sunset drama. Taking time for her own needs, Chrishell continues to be a bold, outspoken character on the series, emphasizing personal growth and a strong sense of self-love through life’s most challenging moments.

Chrishell spoke to TMZ about her love life, with the reality star explaining that she is looking to find love outside of “the industry.” Even though Chrishell has had a number of celebrity men in her life, including Justin Hartley from This Is Us and her co-star from Selling Sunset, Jason Oppenheim, she now has her eyes set on a new type of romance, one devoid of Hollywood’s influence. From Chrishell’s positive posts online to her new demeanor on set, fans can already get a glimpse into the reinvented, more independent version of Chrishell. She admitted that she’s “not always in charge of who [she] meets,” but still desires to find love without the added complications that come with fame. Humorously adding that “it’s a little limited in Los Angles,” Chrishell still appears to be light-hearted and optimistic when it comes to finding love in the big city.

Chrishell Stause on Selling Sunset

Chrishell focused a great deal on what her romantic life will look like in the future, but she did reflect for a moment on her relationship with Jason as well. From their vastly different goals to their conflicting values, Chrishell and Jason were not a match. When asked about the recent breakup, she explained that “as with anything, there’s a transitional period. We’ve put in the work. We really love each other. We want the best for both of us.” Still affirming and positive about her friendship with Jason, she appears to be at peace with their split, no longer harboring bad blood or resentment with Jason (or any of her exes).

With the potential for toxicity and drama on Selling Sunset, Chrishell has taken the higher road when it comes to her breakups, specifically with Jason. Remaining friends and even calling their time together “a success,” Chrishell has focused on their bond rather than their disagreements while dating. Chrishell is unfazed by online criticism and past relationships, choosing to use the experience to grow as an individual and even poke fun at her own shortcomings. Full of humility and grace, Chrishell has mastered the art of moving on and finding mutual respect with her exes.
