‘RHOC’ recap: Shannon Beador says she’s an ‘a–hole’ for spreading Dubrow gossip

Reality TV

She’s owning it.

Wednesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” saw Shannon Beador admit that she was in the wrong for spreading gossip about Heather Dubrow and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow.

“I made a mistake,” Beador, 57, told co-star Gina Kirschenheiter over drinks. “And I’m an a–hole for doing it.”

As viewers of the Dec. 8 episode will recall, Kirschenheiter, 37, alerted Heather, 52, that Beador perpetuated rumors about “RHOC” newbie Nicole James’ lawsuit against Terry, a famed plastic surgeon, for a “botched boob job” years ago.

The revelation caused an explosive fight among the cast — and put Beador and Kirschenheiter at odds — during a $36,000 dinner party hosted by Heather.

With Beador accepting accountability for the role she played in the ruckus, Kirschenheiter said that she is willing to work on repairing their fractured friendship.

“Here we are,” she told Beador. “I can only work with what we have now. And at the end of the day, I really do care about you.”

The women acknowledged that, despite their past feuds, they had recently grown closer while traveling together in New York City. They made a pact to keep the peace (though a preview for next week’s episode indicates a forthcoming breach in their accord).

“I’m in such a positive place and happy place,” Beador said. “The last thing I want to do is fight, be involved in drama and have anything negative.”

Kirschenheiter replied, “This is going in the right direction. I think we both just had to get it out.”

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
