Exclusive Interview with Static Headz

Celebrity, Music, News

Hi, thanks for sitting down with us today. I feel like this doesn’t get asked enough in interviews, so how are you all doing today?

Doing fantastic! Thanks for giving us your time today.

Tell us about your relationship with music. Do you turn to it more when you’re sad or down, or when you’re happy?

For the majority of the time, when we are struggling with something is when we turn to music. A lot of our lyrics talk about deep, personal issues, so it would make sense that our moods at the time of writing them would reflect that.

What themes seem to show up over and over in your songs, if any? Why do you think that is?

As far as musically, hip-hop inspired verses and big rock-anthem choruses seem to occur frequently in our music. As far as lyrically, we tend to talk about more serious issues such as anxiety, depression, and dealing with death.

What have you found most difficult about releasing music?

We’ve hit several roadblocks along the way, but one of the most difficult things about releasing music for us is just keeping everyone on the same page. Trying to have several adults on the same page about really anything has proven to be a consistent headache. Whether it be about a release schedule, getting together to practice, or taking care of finances, keeping all of us on the same page is a full-time job in itself.

Tell us about your self-titled album in a little more detail, what do you want people to know about it?

Hopefully it gives people an idea of who we are as a band, and that it leaves a lasting impression on the listener. It’s been a work in progress for a few years now, and at points it seemed like we were never gonna be able to release it. Now that it’s available for everyone, we are really excited and anxious to hear feedback about it.

Do you have a favorite lyric or verse from your most recent single?

The chorus of our track ‘Fall’ might take first place for lyrics. “Fall, how could I be so wrong, how could I not believe that I could fall?” The overall message of the track is something everyone can relate to and understand. That no one is invincible and sometimes in life we fall down. But we have to come to terms with our vices or faults and learn to pick ourselves back up and become a better person from it.

Thanks so much for chatting with us today! Where can we find your music online?

You can find us on any streaming platform or social media outlet as Static Headz, or at our website at www.staticheadz.com
