If there’s one thing that we know about Jennifer Aydin, it’s that she’s incredibly proud of her and Bill Aydin’s nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mega-mansion. Ever since she joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey, the “Palace of Paramus” has been her bragging point, with its sprawling staircases, glistening thrones, and seemingly endless amenities. But now, in a surprising change of heart, Jennifer revealed to the New York Post that she’s thinking about scaling back.
“You know the saying: bigger house, bigger problems,” the RHONJ star explained. “The harder it falls, the harder it is to fix.”
She went on to share that in the future, she’s thinking about downsizing. So maybe instead of 16 bathrooms, she’ll bring it down to a modest eight bathrooms.
“This is the biggest house I am going to get. I have five kids. We have extended family. My father lives with me. My siblings come over all the time. So for our lifestyle, it works for us right now,” Jennifer said. “But of course, in the future, I do hope to downsize.”
She then teased the idea of transforming her home into a bed and breakfast. She’s confident that she can make it work and make a few extra dollars.

“It can actually work because the house has nine bedrooms,” she explained. “And every single bedroom has a bathroom with a shower. So I thought, you know, maybe I can make money on this.”
She could definitely make some money on it. Who wouldn’t want to spend a few nights in the iconic location where Margaret Josephs and Joe Benigno tossed Marty Caffrey into the pool? It could also be an excellent filming destination for a season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and no one would have to fight over a bathroom.
Jackie Goldschneider once described the gigantic house as the Taj Mahal if the “if the Taj Mahal had a huge mortgage — and no furniture.” On Watch What Happens Live, Jennifer famously clapped back saying that she “doesn’t have a mortgage,” despite the bank records that state otherwise.
“I paid for this property cash, and we built it halfway, we paid with bank check, and the rest was a construction loan to finish the build. So, I actually don’t have a mortgage.”
