Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, guitarist Jon Butcher is one of the rare and influential artist coming out of Boston. His guitar playing is recognized throughout the world and his powerful vocals just adds to the sparkle. The album is an eclectic array of music ranging from soulful funk to jazzy blues and even reggae. Butcher himself calls the music future blues.

Butcher is no stranger to the music world. He has performed on the same stage with the J Geils Band, the world famous bass player Leland Sklar, BB King and many others. In addition to his music Butcher also created his own production company and state of the art recording studio. Through his company. “Electric Factory Music” he has scored music for television film and computer gaming. Aside from that he also makes mini movies for clients from his company “Warercolors Movies.”

“Special Days” the ten track album includes songs such as “Devil’s Train to Houston” a hard driving, soulful story co-written by Glenn Bowie, “Kalena”, “How Does it Feel”, “Make a Little Room”, “Kiss the Sky”, and the single “Special Day.” Since Jon is a story teller each of his songs creates a picture in your mind and is a special gift to humanity. The album is inspiring, powerful, and easy to listen to. Much of the world’s agony is erased through the songs of Jon Butcher…..
