Queens of Stone Age’s Josh Homme is facing domestic violence restraining orders requests on behalf of his children, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm. Brody Dalle, Homme’s ex-wife who fronts the band the Distillers, filed requests for restraining orders in court on behalf of their 5- and 10-year-old sons. The filings allege physically abusive behavior, verbally abusive behavior, and drinking while driving. In the documents, they seek 100 yards of separation between Homme and themselves, as well as the family dog.

Court hearings on the requests for the restraining orders are currently scheduled for Monday, September 13, according to documents viewed by Pitchfork.

“Ms. Dalle has previously brought these claims to the police, [Department of Child and Family Services], and the presiding judge of the family law court, all of whom have declined to take any action based upon these spurious claims,” Homme’s attorney Susan Wiesner said in a statement to TMZ. The publication also reported that Dalle has had previous “efforts to get the restraining order on behalf of her kids” denied.

In an additional statement shared with Pitchfork, Wiesner said, “The allegations made by Ms. Dalle against Mr. Homme are categorically false. In order to protect the children, we will not be making any further statements.”

Josh Homme and Brody Dalle divorced in 2019; they’ve each filed restraining orders against each other in the past. Pitchfork has reached out to Homme and Dalle’s legal representatives for comment.
