The Farm 51’s Chernobylite (read our review of the PC version) will be under wraps for a few more weeks from its original launch date. As stated in a new press release, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the survival horror RPG will be pushed back from their original September 7 release date to September 28.

The reasoning behind the delay according to publisher All in! Games is due to “unforeseen issues with the console build”, according to All in! Games CEO Piotr Żygadło. “We want to make sure we always deliver projects that are in excellent shape and pushing Chernobylite’s console release date back a few weeks will allow us to accomplish that. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we take the time to get this right.”

In the meantime, The Farm 51 has put together an accolades trailer to keep the buzz going for the game.

Chernobylite will be available digitally on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One storefronts for $29.99 USD. As well fans eager to get their hands on a physical version of Chernobylite for PlayStation 4 will be able to purchase a copy from their local retailers in North America on September 28th and throughout Europe and the UK on October 1st for an SRP of $34.99 / €34.99 / £29.99.
