Attorney Hopes To Depose Lisa Rinna For Erika Jayne And Tom Girardi Embezzlement Investigation

Reality TV

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is DELIVERING its best season yet, thanks to the ongoing legal mess that is Erika Jayne’s life. Sutton Stracke is putting in the work now that she has a diamond, calling out Erika’s stories for not adding up and actually questioning her role in Tom Girardi’s shady legal practices. Unlike her co-stars who are blindly defending Erika, Sutton wants to know what happened to money Tom allegedly deposited into Erika Jayne’s business account that was meant for orphans and widows. Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais are the duo we didn’t know we needed, especially in the time of Erika’s downfall. Because they won’t just blindly accept her crocodile tears as actual empathy — they want to see and hear the truth.

Erika’s most loyal soldier has got to be Lisa Rinna. Yes, the RHOBH mainstay who’s thrown away longtime friendships for much less is staunchly defending the Ice Queen wrapped up in a riddle and a whole lot of embezzlement allegations. It’s curious that she’s so die-hard for her co-star, who she only befriended once the cameras were rolling. And apparently,  the attorney investigating Erika’s finances, Ronald Richards, is befuddled by the Rinna of it all as well. Roll footage.

Radar Online reports that the attorney allegedly plans on deposing Rinna as part of his in-depth investigation into Erika’s finances. We know that EJ’s accountant and divorce lawyer will be grilled under oath, so Ronald is leaving no stone unturned. No wonder Erika’s been giving no f–ks, not one, about anything aside from getting Ronald thrown off her case. But the judge isn’t buying it — because again, the truth will prevail.

Ronald recently spoke in a YouTube video about the case, mentioning his plans to get Rinna on the stand. He understands he might have trouble convincing a court to allow him to question the co-star, but believes her defense of Erika renders it important. “If you combine [the business manager] with the fact that Lisa Rinna’s been defending her, and she’s been vouching for her saying she wasn’t involved,” Ronald said. “So if you’re gonna make a statement of fact, you better have a basis of knowledge.” In other words, it’s time to really OWN IT, Rinna, once and for all.

The investigator is particularly interested in hearing Rinna’s side of the story because she’s gone beyond just giving Erika the benefit of the doubt. “She’s gone to the further extreme and said, ‘She didn’t do anything. She’s basically innocent,” the investigator said. “Well, is that just a lie or are you sort of grandstanding, or do you have facts?”

He also called out Rinna on Twitter for defending Erika about alleged death threats she received on social media. Rinna pleaded on her own page for people to stop sending threats. Again, neither RHOBH lady mentions the VICTIMS in all of this. The lawyer tweeted, “Pretending you care @lisarinna while your referring EG to your biz manager to make a successor company and publicly claiming she lacks any legal culpability while doing absolutely nothing for the victims falls on deaf ears and rings hallow. This is not TV, your words do matter.” This clearly isn’t another bunny situation. And Rinna is going to be expected to answer some tough questions about the Thelma to her Louise.

TELL US – WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT LISA RINNA POTENTIALLY HAVING TO TAKE THE STAND IN ERIKA’S CASE? DO YOU BELIEVE RINNA HAS KNOWLEDGE THAT POINTS TO ERIKA’S INNOCENCE OR IS JUST BLINDLY DEFENDING HER CO-STAR?
