Gizelle Bryant Says She And Porsha Williams Were Supposed To Be On Real Housewives All Stars; Shares Her Ideal Cast

The pandemic has not only changed the way we live – it’s changed what we watch. Reality shows have long been a staple of television. But covid has brought them to a whole new level of how to operate. Since we are watching people like us (sort of) live their lives, we are seeing them live through covid too. Which doesn’t exactly make for good TV.

Just look at the most recent seasons of Real Housewives of Atlanta and Real Housewives of New York. Being in quarantine for months on end resulted in the RHOA ladies complaining of gaining a few extra pounds. But more importantly, the shut downs created travel restrictions for the cast and crew. No longer were we treated to international, exotic locations. You know, where everyone is stuck together for an extended period of time with nothing else to do but fight. Exactly. Those trips are what makes each season so special. Since we missed out, Bravo came up with a genius way to give us the housewives vacation we have all been craving.

Enter Real Housewives All Stars! Billed as a limited series, housewives like Kyle Richards and Ramona Singer hit up Turks and Caicos for the ultimate housewives getaway. Joining them will be Luann de Lesseps, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, Teresa Giudice and Melissa No Story Line Gorga. But are there some housewives we are missing from the bunch? According to Gizelle Bryant from Real Housewives of Potomac, she’s one of them.

Gizelle told Digital Spy, “I was actually going to do it. It was in pre-production for me and [Porsha Williams], as well as some of the other ladies that they went with. But then covid hit. So, that group was cancelled. But, yes, I would love to do it. [The current season] looks phenomenal.”

When asked who she would like to go on vacation with for a possible future season of All Stars, Gizelle quipped, “If I had to put a list together, I could get that list to Bravo in four seconds!”

She elaborated, “I think that based off the chemistry I have with Porsha [on Bravo’s Chat Room], I would love to do it with her. Shannon Beador, I think would be amazing. Dorit [Kemsley]… New York girls, Leah [McSweeney], I think would be super fun. Heather Gay from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. I think she’d be great.”

Rumor has it that amidst all the drama from the current season of All Stars, there might be a second season already in the works. We are also likely going to see a housewives “mash up” of sorts coming to our screens. All things to get us back to being excited about our favorite reality TV.
