COVID-19 is the biggest bitch of our generation, even worse than some of reality TV’s most hated. The pandemic has taken the lives of millions, uprooted people from their homes and jobs, and caused an overall sense of insecurity for so many people. While the overall impact is massive and can’t be overlooked, the pandemic has also ruined a lot for reality TV fans.

In our reality TV universe, the impact can be seen on the screen. 90 Day Fiance couples have been forced to postpone their visas and continue their wacky relationships over the phone. The Real Housewives have been unable to take international trips that are typically filled with a whole lot of messy antics. The Summer House good vibe tribe took a stab at WFH — working from the Hamptons, and it was a bit of a mess. And the pandemic has cast overall darkness on some shows, from Real Housewives of New York, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Real Housewives of Orange County, Southern Charm, Below Deck, and more.

And despite vaccines showing a light at the end of the tunnel, we cannot forget that the pandemic is still going on to this day. And its most recent victim has been the second-ever BravoCon. Cue the waterworks a la Candiace Dillard style.

Bravo announced on Monday that the all-out Bravo convention would be postponed until 2022, according to E! Online. The network announced a few months back that BravoCon would be returning this October after its 2019 debut. But after delays in announcing ticket sales, all signs pointed to a postponement, whether we wanted to believe it or not.

The network announced the sad news on Instagram. “Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing BravoCon 2021 until next year. We are just as disappointed as our loyal fans to have to cancel this year’s event, but health and safety are our top priorities. We look forward to celebrating BravoCon 2022 together,” the post read. While it is sad news, it is probably for the best. And will make it even better when Bravolebrities and the fans can come together in a safe and healthy environment (hopefully) mask-free.

Many Bravolebs responded on the post to the disappointing news. Andy Cohen wrote, “See you in 2022.” Vanderpump Rules star (and new mama) Lala Kent commented she’s so sad, but “appreciate you keeping us all safe.” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Crystal Kung Minkoff wrote she was “proud to work with a company committed to doing their part.” The saddest part, in my opinion, is having to wait to see Kathy Hilton live and in the flesh interacting with other Bravo stars. I need to be in the center of a photo with Kathy and Sonja Morgan. That’s my post-pandemic wish and I need it to come true.

The comments kept going. Number One LoverGirl Amanda Batula wrote a nice message, “good things come to those who wait. Next year will be so epic!!!!” *Single tear rolls down my face* RHOBH OG Kyle Richards also appreciated safety coming first, “I will miss seeing everyone,” she added. And Shahs of Sunset’s Nema Vand wrote the truest statement of all — 2022 is going to be *fire emoji.* Ain’t that the truth.
