Braunwyn Windham-Burke Real Housewives of Orange County

It was a relief when it was announced that Real Housewives of Orange County alum Heather Dubrow was returning to the franchise. You know that Heather will make the series classy and extravagant once again. Elizabeth Lyn Vargas and Kelly Dodd were fired from the show.

Braunwyn Windham-Burke was also axed after two chaotic RHOC seasons. And make no mistake, she was not happy about it. The woman loves a camera! “I’m incredibly sad to not be able to come back to The Real Housewives of Orange County next year,” Braunwyn said. “I loved every moment of being a Housewife and am so proud of my time on the show–the good, the bad, and the in-between.”

During Season 15, Braunwyn struggled with alcoholism, and celebrated one year of sobriety in February of 2021. Braunwyn revealed that she was a lesbian in December of 2020. She and her husband, Sean Burke, had no plans to divorce. Now that the cameras are gone, the couple has decided on a trial separation.

Andy Cohen stated that Braunwyn was booted off the show because “maybe at this moment in time being on TV, wasn’t the healthiest spot for she and her family.” That make perfect sense, unless you are Braunwyn. She was “hurt” that Andy didn’t give her a call.

In an amusing twist, two of Braunwyn’s friends are reportedly replacing her on RHOC. Noella Bergener appeared on the show and tried to help Braunwyn with her marital issues. Noella is a mother of three who is married to a personal injury lawyer. They reside in Newport Beach.

Noella’s husband, James Bergener, allegedly owes “millions in taxes to the State of California and the Internal Revenue Service.” So, the new couple fits right in!

Another one of Braunwyn’s besties, Dr. Jen Armstrong, is supposedly joining the cast. She also lives in Newport Beach and has three children. Jen thanked some of her followers for wishing her well with her new job on RHOC, and a screenshot was shared on Twitter by @BRVOconnosseur. We don’t know for sure if either Jen or Noella will be full-time or part-time.

In an interview with Access, Braunwyn discussed having her friends steal her orange join the franchise. “I was looking forward to filming with people that liked me. I am not going to lie that would have been amazing,” Braunwyn said. Once again–it is all about Braunwyn. Sigh.

“But I am really happy because the people that I know that are on it, really wanted this. If I can facilitate that in any way, I am glad,” she shared. “This was my dream for a long time, and it was a beautiful experience. I am glad that they get to have the same experience. It is special,” Braunwyn added.

Another reason why Braunwyn may be sort-of happy for her friends is because she already wants a cameo for Season 16. Please, Braunwyn. Give us a chance to miss you before you return.
