Eboni K. Williams Says “Kirsten Dunst Has My Entire Career”

Eboni K. Williams Real Housewives Of New York

This season of Real Housewives of New York has been dismal. Eboni K. Williams was the first Black Housewife on the franchise, and she brought a fresh energy. This television host and attorney has been accused of being “preachy,” but that doesn’t bother her at all.

Eboni has tried to educate her RHONY co-stars about racial issues, but it wasn’t easy. Ramona Singer referred to her staff as “the help.” She apologized after Eboni explained why that term wasn’t appropriate.

After Luann de Lesseps called Eboni “angry” during a disagreement about education, Eboni refused to say “sorry” to Luann. The newbie Housewife even held a dinner party at a historic Harlem speak-easy to educate her co-stars about Black history. Ramona and Sonja Morgan were more interested in the food.

Since Eboni received some backlash, Bravo issued a statement in support of their newest RHONY Housewife.  “We support Eboni in expressing her views, and we are proud that the show is addressing these important and relevant issues,” the statement read.

Eboni has had some emotional moments on the show. During the  girls’ trip to Salem, Massachusetts, Eboni revealed that her beloved grandmother had passed away. Eboni’s bestie, Leah McSweeney, also lost her grandmother recently. The friends got tattoos in memory of their grandmas.

During the most recent episode of RHONY, Eboni told Sonja that she may have a sister that she didn’t know about. She has been in contact with the woman for quite a while. They decided to take a DNA test to see if they share the same father.

Eboni was recently a guest on the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast, where she discussed her acting career as a child. “I was a working commercial actress and model at six and seven. I was signed to the J. Thompson Agency. I interviewed for Interview With a Vampire,” Eboni revealed. “Because in the book by Anne Rice, that little girl is Creole. I mean, I don’t know was it 92 or some crazy shit.” Wow!

“You know, the world was not ready to see some little brown girl kissing Brad Pitt in the mouth, or whoever ends up kissing in the film. So, you know, obviously, Kirsten Dunst has my entire career,” the attorney said. “So, there’s that.” That is wild!

Eboni continued, “But in all sincerity, I recognize, you know, I’m on like, movie sets, I’m auditioning, I’m getting paid. I mean, 1000s of dollars at six and seven years old to be in a grocery store commercial. And, you know, it was like, ‘yeah’, and it wasn’t lost on me that and I was doing well in some of these pageants,” she said.

“It wasn’t lost on me that my experience was not like that of my peers. Right? And as I get older, meaning what do I mean by that? Meaning that I was given access to spaces, opportunities, you know, really rare air,” Eboni remarked. “That was uncanny for someone else like me, meaning girl, meaning black, meaning poor. It’s like, ‘What the fuck is going on here?’ Even at six and seven? ‘Like, what? Why me?’” Eboni commented.

I had no idea that Eboni was an actress, and that she so close to being in a film with Brad Pitt. That must make her co-stars so jealous!
