Fans will never forget Ashley Martson and Jay Smith’s disastrous marriage on 90 Day Fiancé, but based on the hairdresser’s latest update on her life, Ashley has a new man and seems to be doing great. Her relationship with Jay was plagued with infidelities, and many fans believe Ashley deserves a fresh start and a loyal partner. Now, in a new Instagram Q&A, it appears that Ashley has bounced back from her divorce and is doing everything in her power to keep her life on track.
Ashley met Jay in Jamaica while on vacation, and after a whirlwind romance, the couple quickly got engaged. Throughout 90 Day Fiancé season 6, Ashley and Jay navigated the K-1 Visa process and made their way down the altar. But even though Ashley thought she got her happy ending, Jay cheated on her repeatedly, and the couple split and reunited on several occasions. After filing for divorce many times, Ashley and Jay finalized their divorce in March of this year, and it’s clear that Ashley is ready to move on with her love life.
On Instagram, Ashley Martson answered questions from fans, and many of them wanted to know what she has been up to since her split from Jay Smith. Ashley said she’s been “doing hair full time, in school, being a mom, being a girlfriend, and working on my salon that’s under a complete renovation. I’m tired.” After her disastrous relationship with Jay, Ashley certainly deserves someone who will be faithful to her, though it seems Ashley isn’t eager to reveal the identity of her new man at this moment.
When a fan asked the 90 Day Fiancé star who her new boyfriend is, Ashley replied: “Just like my kids, I will never show him on social media.” Ashley famously kept her kids off the show and has been very careful to keep them off her Instagram as well. Overall, she wants to maintain her family’s privacy. She is very cautious when it comes to her kids, and revealed that she will not introduce her new boyfriend to her children for at least six months.
In addition to her new man, the 90 Day Fiancé star has been working on fully renovating her own hair salon, which is set to open on September 1, 2021. At times, it was hard to watch Ashley and Jay’s relationship unfold on the show due to all the toxicity between them and how badly Jay treated Ashley. Thankfully, however, Ashley has turned things around after finalizing her divorce and seems to be doing better than ever now.
