Destiney Rose Doesn’t See Reza Farahan And Tommy Feight Making Up

The Shahs of Sunset have come a long way over the last nine seasons. Unlike other shows on Bravo, the cast members’ connections to one another going all the way back to childhood in many cases. Another key difference is the general stability of the cast. I mean stable in the tenure on camera sense, not the behavioral sense.

Reza Farahan and MJ Javid’s friendship started in high school. These two, along with Golnesa Gharachedaghi and Mike Shouhed, have been main cast members on the show for each and every season to date. Semi-remarkable. Especially considering the constant shake ups other reality seem to require. And what exactly do these deep connections and constantly produced interactions mean? Explosive arguments, of course!

If you’re watching Shahs this season you probably have a ton of thoughts on the MJ and Reza make up tour. Following the season 8 drama between Reza and MJ’s husband, Tommy Feight, it’s a wonder how these two ex-friends are speaking at all. Imagine walking a line between your former bestie and your husband. All while one still keeps an active restraining order against the other. It’s a mess. While I can’t blame MJ for keeping loyalty to her husband and promising to not introduce their baby to her former pal, Reza, I just don’t see how this can all move ahead.

In a recent interview on Watch What Happens LiveDestiney Rose seemed to share the same sentiments. While Destiney is only in her second season on the Shahs, she and Reza claim to have known each other since the tender age of four-weeks. Adorable.

During the interview Andy Cohen asked Destiney, “What was your thought or reaction to Tommy when he said he wasn’t going to say hello to the girls because he didn’t like some of them?” Destiney answered honestly saying, “I mean, that was the best move he could have done, you know? Because we don’t need drama in that house.”

Later, Andy asked Destiney if she thought Tommy and Reza would ever be able to work it out. Destiney took a moment before answering. First she said she “keeps thinking about that question”. She then added, “Honestly, I don’t see it happening. I don’t.” Does anyone? Tommy seems to have made it very clear on camera, and off, that he want’s absolutely nothing to do with Reza. But what does that mean for the show? Or MJ’s glacially paced rekindling of a friendship with Reza?
