Listen to a Previously Unreleased George Harrison Demo for All Things Must Pass

The “Cosmic Empire” take appears on the 50th anniversary reissue of the Beatle’s landmark LP

A previously unreleased George Harrison demo has arrived as part of the rollout for the 50th anniversary reissue of his celebrated All Things Must Pass. Listen to a take of “Cosmic Empire” below.

Harrison cut “Cosmic Empire” solo on May 27, 1970, the second day of his sessions for the album with co-producer Phil Spector. The deluxe update to All Things Must Pass is executive produced by Harrison’s son Dhani, with varying editions including a book, a Blu-Ray disc, and a wooden crate. The reissue is out August 6.
