Jax Taylor Rumored To Be Joining Big Brother Cast In Australia

Reality TV

Vanderpump Rules Season 9 is fast approaching, and there’s no doubt it will be a season unlike any other. Half of the OG cast “left” (aka got fired) from the show after last season for various displays of bad behavior. That includes new dad Jax Taylor, which is still a shocking concept to wrap my head around. Jax has been a VPR OG since the early days and his bad-boy antics ranged from entertaining to downright toxic. He’s stolen sunglasses. He’s blown up on his friends. He cheated on his fiance. The list goes on. And while Jax might not be missed by many on the next season, his absence will truly be somewhat alarming.

Jax and Brittany Cartwright are new parents battling with their bookkeeper and weirdos on Instagram who make fake accounts pretending to be their newborn baby. They hang out with fellow disgraced former Pump Rules parents Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark. Jax has definitely shown he’s pretty bitter about his alleged firing, saying that he didn’t even want to be a part of the phoniness anyway. Which disputes his early claims regarding his excitement to start filming Season 9. And you know who’s laughing all the way to the bank to cash their Bravo check that Jax misses so much? Miss Charli Burnett who never eats pasta. And that’s on that.

So it’s clear that Jax has plenty of time on his hands now that he’s no longer a Bravolebrity, which means the list of people #blockedbyjax is probably at an all-time high. But some recent rumors have been swirling that he might be eyeing another stint on reality TV — this time, on a Big Brother spin-off.

The Daily Mail reports that Jax recently followed an Instagram page for “Big Brother Australia.” Back in April, 7 News announced the Big Brother VIP spinoff cast would be announced soon, according to HeavySo Jax’s recent follow makes fans question whether he’s just a major Big Brother fan, or if he’s giving the reality TV competition game a whirl. And it’s obvious he’s the type of guy to have no problem leaving his wife alone with a newborn while filming a 24/7 reality show. To be fair, Britt could probably use the break from dealing with a second adult-baby.

Ever since Jax “left” the show, he’s been teasing that “big news” coming from him soon. Considering his past business ventures which include a sweater line and hockey tweeter, I will have to see it to believe it. But Big Brother could be a perfect fit for Jax — he’s got the reality TV villain persona down to a T. But now that he doesn’t have Lisa Vanderpump in his corner anymore, it’s unclear if audiences will fall for his longtime schtick, or if we’re all over watching a 40+-year-old man making a fool out of himself on TV.
