‘90 Day Fiancé’ stars Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra engaged

Reality TV

Colt Johnson and Vanessa Guerra are getting married … maybe.

Johnson got down on one knee to pop the question on Sunday’s episode of “90 Day: The Single Life.” Despite their romantic history, Guerra appeared surprised when her boyfriend of only one month proposed — and even stated that just because they were engaged did not mean they would ever actually get married.

“I want to marry you some day, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to,” she told her boyfriend after his proposal, explaining her reservations.

“I really want to see that you’re consistent and that you’re not gonna f–k around. I want to make sure that this is you for good.”

Johnson responded by letting Guerra know he felt she was worth the wait.

The reality couple have a bit of a rocky past.

Johnson was previously married to Larissa Dos Santos Lima, and their relationship was featured on Season Six of TLC’s “90 Day Fiancé.” They were married for less than a year before Johnson filed for divorce after Dos Santos Lima was arrested for domestic battery.

In October 2020, Johnson admitted to having an “emotional” affair with his now-fiancée during his rocky marriage to Dos Santos Lima. After his divorce, Johnson started dating Jess Caroline — who he also cheated on with Guerra.

Johnson revealed his plans to propose on the May 2 episode of “The Single Life.” On the same episode, Guerra admitted that she was hesitant to trust her boyfriend due to his history of infidelity.
