Lala Kent Says Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, And Kristen Doute Were “Worst Mean Girls Trio Ever”

Reality TV

Lala Kent

Lala’s recently released memoir, Give Them Lala, is apparently revealing all kinds of secrets from the early days of Pump Rules. Us Weekly shared a few excerpts where Lala discusses her entry onto the show as a young hostess at SUR. Fans of the show haven’t forgotten the slut-shamey insinuations made by Stassi SchroederKristen Doute, and Katie Maloney-Schwartz in Lala’s direction back in those days. Long before the the BJs for PJs movement they’ve come to know and love.
Lala recounted the “high-fashion modeling job” she lied to Lisa Vanderpump about. The lie Scheana Shay and Katie caught her in during season 4.  She wrote, “Right before joining Vanderpump, a rich, super-famous actor who shall remain unnamed had invited me alongside a bunch of other hot chicks to vacation on his yacht in Italy.” Any guesses who it could be? “Scheana really tried to give me a tough time, which must have been a lot of work for her, because she can be very sweet, and when she tries to bully people, it’s uncomfortable to watch,” Lala added.

Lala admitted that the “the meaner” her co-stars/co-workers became, the “wilder” she would act. She revealed that mindset was her motivation for going topless during the cast trip to Hawaii. Who didn’t love Katie’s face during that scene, though? Lala wrote, “Stassi, Kristen, and Katie became the worst mean-girl trio ever, and it was three against one at all times.”

Lala noted that she was “hammered” throughout her whole first season. The now sober Lala also wrote, “Thank the Lord for alcohol, the only thing that helped me through each day with those girls.”
