Upcoming Availability For Final ‘Resident Evil Village’ Demo Extended For One Week

Horror

After receiving criticism from fans and outlets alike for the time constraints placed on the Resident Evil Village demos, Capcom has decided to correct that wrong with the upcoming May demo.

Capcom took to Twitter to announce that the upcoming May demo, which was originally set for a 24-hour window availability, has now been extended from May 1 to May 9th (May 2 to May 10 for Europe). Unfortunately, the 60-minute time limit still remains, but you know that someone will try to find a way to extend that (much like they did with the One-Shot demo for the Resident Evil 2 remake).

As detailed during the last Resident Evil Showcase, Resident Evil Village‘s final demo will combine the PlayStation-exclusive Castle and Village demos into one 60-minute demo across all platforms. The demo’s availability will run from May 1 at 5 PM PDT until May 9 at 5 PM PDT in North America, UK players have it from May 2 at 1 AM BST until May 10 at 1 AM BST, and the rest of Europe will have the demo run from May 2 at 2 AM CEST until May 10 at 2 AM CEST.

The real deal arrives on May 7 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Google Stadia, and PC via Steam.
