Paige DeSorbo is finally opening up about her split from boyfriend Perry Rahbar. The Summer House star spent the last season in bliss with her beau despite his absence from the show. But, it appears the couple hit a snag last summer due to Paige’s time in the house.
It was last October when Paige took to her Giggly Squad podcast to reveal her newly single status. “[Our listeners] the Gigglers are full-on detectives and found out that my boyfriend and I broke up before we even broke up,” she told her co-host and show co-star, Hannah Berner. “[It’s] confirmed. I am a single girl about the town now. … I used to be so scared of change, now I welcome that s—t. … What’s meant for you, you can’t mess it up.” She hasn’t mentioned anything about the breakup since. But, it appears she stayed silent in order to let the show reveal what led to their breakup.

In a clip shared by Us Weekly, Paige is seen wiping away tears while crying over her relationship woes with Perry. “My dream scenario would be he came tonight, like, the same night Des is coming, and we all had dinner together,” Paige tells Hannah in reference to her then-boyfriend-now-fiance Des Bishop. After Hannah asks Paige about Perry’s reluctance to hang out with her and her friends, Paige opened up about the strain the summer house put on her relationship. “This is the second summer in a row without my boyfriend,” the podcast host admits. “It’s the second summer that he’s made me feel bad for not hanging out with him and, like, putting me in a situation where I have to pick. If he didn’t want to come and spend the time in this house, I get that. But don’t make me feel guilty for me wanting to do it.”
Paige becomes even more emotional as she questions Perry’s love for her. “I’m just, like, frustrated,” she says with tears in her eyes. “If you really, really loved me and wanted to make it work, like, you’d figure it out. You’re the guy.” Since their split, sources revealed that Perry relocated to Miami. Back in season three, Paige gushed about Perry during the early days of the romance. She expressed her happiness for having an older boyfriend who was “10 years older than me, so much smarter, so much more accomplished, just more mature.”
Hannah supports her friend as Paige vents about her crumbling romance. With the show being filmed last summer, Paige might spend the remainder of the season at odds with Perry. Viewers have seen her entertain a brief in-house fling with Carl Radke. But, maybe now that she’s single again viewers will get a chance to see her with someone new.
