Teresa Giudice is living her best life this season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, and it’s about time. She’s single and more than ready-to-mingle after her divorce from (and the deportation of) Joe Giudice. Tre’s been through hell — she went to jail (thanks to Joe) and recently lost both her mom and dad. Now she’s selling her family home and starting a new life with a new man — Luis “Louie” Ruelas
While Tre is still single as of this week’s episode of RHONJ, we know that doesn’t last long. Things are getting serious with Luis, who she considers her “soulmate.” The two recently bought a $3.3 million house together. We know Joe and her girls all approve of her new boo. But in a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, Teresa gave even more details about Juicy Joe and Luis’s relationship.
Andy Cohen asked Tre several questions about her new man, starting with how Joe feels about him, according to People.
“They’ve talked over the phone and Luis wanted to go to the Bahamas and meet him, which I thought was the most amazing thing ever,” Teresa said. “He said he just wanted to talk to him and let him know that he’s not trying to take his place or anything. He just wanted to meet him since we have daughters.” It’s actually surprising Joe isn’t being a total douche about it, considering his past behavior toward Teresa when they were actually married. But he apparently has a new girlfriend of his own, and despite concerns from Joe Gorga, their split was pretty amicable.

It seems like only a matter of time until we see a photo of Juicy and Luis together on Instagram, probably captioned with some strange inspirational quote. Maybe they’ll even both join in on a TikTok with Milania Giudice and Gia Giudice. The possibilities are endless.
And things are really getting serious with Luis. Tre called him her soulmate again on the episode and talked about the house they bought together. While they don’t have any plans to move in together, Teresa said she’s not counting out wedding bells between the two of them in the future.
“I feel it, so we’ll see,” Teresa said with the biggest smile on her face. “We can’t keep our hands off each other.” She added he’s into her recent pineapple eating habits, which is something we truly didn’t need to know.

Outside of their physicality, Teresa said that she can be more open in her relationship with Luis than she was with Joe. “He gets me to open up. I know exactly what he’s feeling,” Teresa said. Considering she and Joe had a habit of sweeping everything under the rug, hopefully, this new man can teach Tre to just be real about her life. And maybe he’ll even show her how to be accountable for her actions, at least Jackie Goldschneider hopes.
Despite all of the bad things that happened between Teresa and Joe, they seem to be taking cues from Dolores Catania and Frank Catania about how to do divorce right. They FaceTime each other, he sends her sex toys (weird) and we know even defends her ex in a fight with the Gorgas. They have a lot of history, not to mention their four girls, so it’s truly amicable how she doesn’t harbor any hard feelings. It’s probably all of the yoga, and the love love love she’s getting from Luis.
