The Xenomorph Becomes a Marvel Monster Later This Month With New Comic Series! [Trailer]

Horror

Beginning this year, both the Alien and Predator franchises nestle into their new home at Marvel Comics, and first up from Marvel is a brand new Alien comic series starting this month!

Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson (EMPYRE: CAPTAIN AMERICA) with art by Salvador Larroca (DOCTOR DOOM), ALIEN #1 will be a “thrilling addition to the incredible legacy that began with the groundbreaking 1979 film,” the press release explained last year. “Featuring both new and classic characters from Earth and beyond, this bold take on the Alien mythology will entertain both longtime fans and newcomers to the legendary horror/science-fiction saga.”

“The new series will introduce new character Gabriel Cruz, who years ago almost literally gave his life to Weyland-Yutani when he barely survived an alien attack. Recently retired, Cruz is trying to patch things up with his abandoned son with the help of his friend, a Bishop-model android, but his re-entry into civilian life is not going smoothly…and his encounters with the deadly Xenomorph are far from over. No one is safe. No one is innocent.

“And no one can hear you scream.”
