“You don’t know me — yet” — Claudia Conway says in sneak-peak clip from ‘American Idol’ premiere

In her star turn on Sunday’s season premiere “American Idol,” social media phenom Claudia Conway declares herself to be officially out from the shadow of her famous — and famously feuding — parents.

The 16-year-old daughter of Donald Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway and conservative but anti-Trump lawyer George Conway details her upbringing to the show’s judges in a newly-released, sneak-peak video obtained by People magazine.

“I’m Claudia Conway,” she tells judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

“My mother is Kellyanne Conway. She worked for Donald Trump. And my dad is George Conway. He worked against Donald Trump.

“It’s a lot, but I agree to disagree with my mom and my dad,” she says in the video clip.

“You probably know me as 15-year-old emancipation girl or that blonde woman from Fox News’ daughter,” Claudia says in a home video. “I’m a little more than that.”

She adds, “When your mom is working for the President of the United States, who you very much disagree with, it’s hard.”

She adds, “Most of my life, my feelings had been suppressed. So then I got social media and was like, ‘Well, yeah. Now my voice is being heard.”

Claudia concludes, “The Internet can be a very, very dark place, but when life is all going downhill, I have my music. Now, I want to get out of the controversy, get out of the drama and let people know that I am a singer and this is what I want to do.”

In November, Claudia hinted she was auditioning for the reality show.

That was months before the police showed up at her family’s mansion in Alpine, New Jersey, prompted by the teen posting a series of videos claiming her mother Kellyanne, 54, was being abusive and that she also accidentally posted a topless photo of her.

Despite the drama, the Conways have been supportive of their daughter’s singing ambitions, with George Conway accompanying Claudia at her audition last year.

“We are proud of Claudia for entering the arena and sharing her beautiful voice and inspirational message about mental health with others,” Kellyanne Conway previously told People.
